Medical Sonographer Clinical Internship

• ​During this time, I performed abdomen complete, right upper quadrant, renal, pelvic, small parts, carotid, upper extremity vascular, lower extremity vascular, soft tissue, OB limited (all trimesters) and ABI exams independently.

• I also assisted in procedures including, but not limited to paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and needle localizations all while working successfully with other sonographers and radiologists to obtain high quality ultrasound images and provide exceptional patient care.

• While scanning I used the Sequioa machine, GE Logic 9, and Toshiba machines.

Outreach Specialist at Carolinas HealthCare System

• ​Place outbound calls to patients whom have been recently discharged from our hospital system to ensure their health and well-being.

• Schedule follow-up and reminded care appointments for patients.

• Attend health fairs to market CHS, and help patients get established with primary care doctors.

Personal Injury Paralegal

​December 2010 - May 2014

• Act as daily liaison and primary contact between attorneys, clients, healthcare providers, insurance carriers, law firms and government agencies.

• Coordinate multi-faced office functions, encompassing heavy calendar management for 4 attorneys.

• Prepare content specific case files by monitoring client treatment, updating medical records and bills, obtaining liens, drafting legal documents and performing computerized and law library research to obtain case relevant data.
